Johnson City Transit

Johnson City Transit

Johnson City Transit (JCT), a department of the City of Johnson City, began operations in 1979 as the first new municipal transit system in Tennessee since World War II.  JCT operates fixed route services, ETSU campus shuttle service, paratransit services for individuals with disabilities, and various demand-response call-in services. JCT operations are centered around the Regional Transportation Center at 137 W. Market Street, which serves not only as a transfer point for JCT riders, but also for Greyhound Bus Lines and local taxi companies.
