Transportation Improvement Program (TIP)

The TIP describes and lists capital projects approved for funding within the Johnson City MTPO transportation planning region for the fiscal years indicated. There are several types of projects within the TIP. These projects include: highways, public transportation, bicycle, pedestrian facilities, and traffic signalization/intersection improvements. The projects in the TIP are derived from the Long Range Transportation Plan.
