Federal Highway Administration "Everyday Counts"

The Federal Highway Administration has started a new initiative called “Every Day Counts.” The goal EDC is to identify and deploy innovations that will shorten project delivery, enhance the safety of our roadways, while protecting the environment.
To facilitate this project the Federal Highway Administration is sponsoring the following interactive national meetings. The following topics are up-coming for this year.

1. Geosynthetic Reinforced Soil (GRS) Integrated Bridge System (February 16, 2012)
2. Flexibilities in Right-of-Way (April 19, 2012)
3. Use of In-Lieu Fees and Mitigation Banking (June 21, 2012)
4. Adaptive Signal Control Technology (August 16, 2012)

The locations for the events have not been determined yet, but we will send out invitations 3 – 4 weeks before each event.
Please check back for locations of the meetings. If you have any questions please feel free to contact me.
