Notice of Public Meeting
The Executive Staff and Executive Board of the Johnson City Metropolitan Transportation Planning Organization will be meeting Wednesday February 3, 2010 at 3:00 p.m. in the Administrative Conference Room of the Johnson City Municipal Building located at 601 East Main Street, Johnson City. The Topics to be discussed are:

• Adoption of amendments to the 2008-2011 Transportation Improvement Plan (TIP) for the Johnson City MTPO and Johnson City Transit
• Adoption of amendment to the Unified Planning Work Program (UPWP).

The Johnson City MTPO and Johnson City Transit System are also holding a public hearing on the proposed amendments to the Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) and FY 2010 Unified Planning Work Program (UPWP). The TIP amendment will add $185,050 in Federal Transit Administration Section 5309 funds for Johnson City Transit System for transit center renovation and safety and security projects. The hearing will be held at the Johnson City Transit System, 137 West Market Street, Johnson City Transit Center Training room, on Wednesday January 27th, 2010 @ 10:00am to 10:30am. Please note that the meeting place is ADA accessible. Public notice of public involvement activities and time established for public review and comment on the TIP will satisfy the program-of-projects requirement of the Urbanized Area Formula Program for the Johnson City Transit System (JCT). The public involvement procedures associated with the TIP development were used to satisfy the program-of-projects requirements of Section 5307.
