The Executive
Staff and Executive Board of the Johnson City Metropolitan Transportation
Planning Organization will be meeting Wednesday August 1, 2007 at 2:30
p.m. in the Training Room of the Johnson City Transit Building located
at 137 West Market Street, Johnson City. The Topics to be discussed are:
• A presentation by the Southern Appalachian Greenway Alliance (SAGA).
• Adoption of updated bylaws.
• Reaffirm MTPO goals and objectives for the Long Range Transportation
Plan.
• Consideration for adoption of the Johnson City Urbanized Area
Coordinated Public Transit-Human Services Transportation Plan. The plan
has been available for public review on the Johnson City Transit website
(http://www.johnsoncitytransit.org/jctnews) and at the Johnson City Transit
(JCT) offices (137 W. Market St., Johnson City, TN) since June 29, 2007.
Comments will be accepted until July 31, 2007, and may be submitted to
JCT at the aforementioned address.
