Local ARRA funded State of Franklin Bicycle and Pedestrian Trail
The
future State of Franklin Bicycle and Pedestrian trail will run from University
Parkway (SR-67) to Buffalo Street. The new trail will run on the East
bound side of State of Franklin Road. ARRA funding in the amount of $400,000
will be used along with $600,000 in Local Enhance funds to complete this
project. This trail will give greater connectivity between ETSU and Downtown
Johnson City. This section of trail will be another viable piece of Johnson
City's Bicycle and Pedestrian network.
